How to Make a Perfect World - Part 1

Good evening maggots!

The more I think about the problems with the world today, the more I think about how to fix them. After great length of thought and discussion, primarily with The JesusMoon, the following is what has been discussed and mulled over.

These will require alot of government reform but this is the way it should happen.

As we all know, we live in the greatest country on earth. And for our way of life, we are hated. I think the problem is, the rest of the world sees our prosperity and they are jealous. So, we must make them conform to our way of life so they too can see how good it is to be American.

We must first start at home. Our citizens do not know what it means to be American or the true value of citizenship. To remedy this, all Americans, in order to acheive full citizenship, must serve the country for two years. This will be doing a number of different tasks, one of which will be made more apparent later. This will be met with great resistance by many, particularly the bleeding heart liberals. Well, its too damned bad, they will do it and like it. The consequence for not doing public service is the loss of governement services including: welfare, healthcare (to be discussed further), educational aid (also to be discussed later), and a number of other services that will be available to CITIZENS ONLY.

In order ot make it more desirable to be a citizen, there are some sweeping reforms that must be made. Eggs will be broken and milk will be spilt, but thats the way it has to be. Through these changes, the way to fund all programs and benefits become easily attainable.
1. Establish a flat tax rate for ALL. With a flat tax rate, there will be true equality from the richest person to the poorest. Of course the richest will cry foul because they have to pay more than the poor. My response to this is get over it. Lets say that the flat tax is 15% (much less than the 24-28% most of us pay now). If your anual income is $10mil, then you pay $1.5mill in taxes. If your anual icome is $10k then you pay $1500. The rich argue that they have to pay so much more. This is tru in actual dollar amount, but I can tell you from experience that the poor having to pay $1500 is going to of greater impact than the person paying $1.5mil. So the simple response is, it is truely fair. This aplies to the individual as well as to the business. The direct result of this is that every American knows exactly how much they have to pay in taxxes every year. Also as a result, the need for SO many IRS employees is greatly reduced. In all actuality, the the need for the IRS is reduced to the point where the department can be removed completely. All functions of the IRS will be handled by the Treasury Department.

2. Trade defecit - The United States would not have such a trade defecit if the same tarrifs that are imposed by foreign countries against American exports are also imposed exactly the same for all goods imported to the United States. If a country has most favored nation trade status, then the United States must have the same status. The impact to the American economy will be felt imediately. Of course all of the countries who previously enjoyed not having to pay taxxes on goods coming into America will balk against this. Our response is to just DEAL WITH IT. Any country that descides that they will no longer trade with America because of this, we welcome them to find other countries to trade with on the scale that they traded with the United States. We have the resources to provide ourselves with any of the goods that these countries no longer provide. This will promote growth for industries that had previously given way to goods being imported, creating jobs and providing an additional infusion to the American economy.

3. Health care - With the additional money created from flat tax rates, fair trade rates, and increase factory output, socialized healthcare for all can become a reality for all CITIZENS.

4. Education - This is an area where the United States continues to fall behind to the rest of the world. This MUST change. Some of the additional revenue from item 1 and 2 will go to bolster our education system at all levels. All persons retunring from National service will be provided the means for higher education or trade school for free.

5. Foreign Relations - all foreign relations will be treated as a business transaction. All countries which owe the United States money must make repayment in a timely fashion. All countries who fail in this are subject to foreclosure. All countries that have been foreclosed upon become property of the United States. These former countries may then apply for statehood incurring all benefits therein. This also applies to all invaded countries. If the United States invades and overthrows the opposing government, then that country becomes property of the United States.

6. Foreign Debt to former Occupied Nations - These debts are null and void because in every case, the United States paid to re-build these countries. Japan is an example of this.

7. The United Nations - As the primary funder of the United Nations, the United States now owns the United Nations. This will become the seat for control of all occupied nations until such a time as those countries have acheived Statehood.

8. Border Protection - As it is viewed that the United States is the greatest country in the world and the peoples of all other nations strive to acheive the American dream, and in some cases draw from welfare only to send this money to a foreign economy, it is our duty to ensure that these monies are not taken to foreign countries. Since citizenship is required to recieve healthcare, welfare, and higher aducation, the benefits to illegal aliens is greatly reduced. Also, to ensure that our borders are protected, the ranks of the border patrol will need to be greatly increased. To accomplish this, one of the largest functions of citizen service will be to enable effective border patrol. Any person seen trying to enter the country illegally will be viewed as a terrorist and shot on site.

This lays the ground work for this plan. More to follow in future posts.
